Jess Zheng is an independent producer based in New York.

She also enjoys photography, and experimenting in the kitchen.

Growing up in a small suburban town in New Jersey, Jess has always had her eyes glued to the big screen. She grew up loving storytelling, having influence from the legends and tall tales her parents would tell her at night. She developed a love for cinema - with her calling card to entertainment being in the 5th grade after a wide-eyed journey through James Cameron’s Titanic.

She then moved to New York, graduating from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts in May of 2020 with a BFA in Film & TV Production and minors in Business of Entertainment, Media, and Technology, as well as Art History.

During her time as a student at NYU, Jess has worked on numerous student productions, many of which she has produced. These films have gone on to see success at festivals and with audiences on platforms such as HBO Max. She continues to work on independent projects on the side, and hopes to nurture passionate stories and dreams into reality as a producer.
